Sadly, I had to have my 15-yr-old cat, Merlin, put down in October, and it tore me up, as he had been my best friend and constant companion since I adopted him at a year old. I had called another cremation place before calling Eternal Paws because it was more widely known for both human and animal cremations. The person I spoke with sounded like it was nothing but a business transaction, even though I was still sobbing on the phone. I got the information I needed and hung up. Then I called Eternal Paws. Christine answered and as soon as I told her my situation, she immediately sounded sympathetic and empathetic. That told me that she actually cared about me and the furbaby I’d lost. I had her pick Merlin’s body up from the vet’s office and agreed on the individual cremation with his ashes returned to me, and also for a personalized clay pawprint that I am making into a Christmas tree ornament. Christine picked Merlin up on the Wednesday I had him put down, and my husband was able to pick his ashes up on Friday, only 48 hours later, in a beautiful little box with flowers carved on top, along with the pawprint and a certificate of individual cremation. Eternal Paws made an unbearable situation a little better with their quick turnaround time, and their personal attention. Thank you for caring, Christine and Eternal Paws!
