It is often difficult to describe how you feel when you lose someone you love, or in our case, an animal we love. Many downplay the relationship and bond between human, and animal, but those who have never had that will never understand what it feels like to hold the paw of a loved one as they make their journey to the other side. It is a pain comparable to a literal broken heart. Although our family will never be the same again, and Lola could never be replaced – it was wonderful to have the staff at Eternal Paws ensure that the ceremony for her final transition was peaceful, loving, and meaningful as we said our last goodbyes. We will forever appreciate the care they took to make us comfortable and they will always hold a special place in our hearts.
