FAQS

What are my options for Pet Aftercare?

The two main choices are Cremation or Burial Services. We exclusively offer Cremation Services at Eternal Paws.   In the event your pet passes at home, you can call us directly to arrange a home pick up or meet us at our facility. * Even if you are at your vet office for euthanasia you still have options. You can choose your pet’s after provider even if it is not offered by your vet.  Most vets will hold your pet up to a few days while you make your decision. See FAQ below "What is the difference between individual and communal pet cremation?"

How is my pet transported?

We offer Home or Vet Office pickup when you are in need. Home pickup is arranged between 1-3 hours of your call. Vet Office pickups are arranged same day or next day based on your preference and office hours of your vet. You are also welcome to meet us at our facility at anytime - please call to have an aftercare specialist available for your arrival. We are available 24 hours a day by phone. Please call anytime to arrange services.

Can Eternal Paws come to my home?

Yes! It can be such a difficult time and sometimes physically difficult to provide aftercare transportation for your pet. We provide at home pick up arrangements for clients in a 1-3 hour window from receiving your call. The fee for this service is based on the distance to your home or vet office from our facility Monday- Friday 9am-6pm.  Evening and Weekend an afterhours fee will apply, but we are available 24/7 for this service. Please call for pricing based on your need and to request service from our aftercare specialist.

Can Eternal Paws come to my Vet’s Office?

We also offer same day/next day pick up at your vet office at no extra cost within a 5 mile radius of our office and a nominal fee outside of the area or for evening and weekend.

Can I bring my pet directly to Eternal Paws?

Absolutely! We offer a private tranquil area to say goodbye and make your final arrangements in accordance with your wishes. Just knowing your pet is safe and being well cared for is very important to us. Working directly with us offers you more options in memorializing your pet and in most instances is a lower cost. Please call ahead to make sure an aftercare specialist is here for you when you arrive. We are available 24/7 by phone to make your appointment.  Our office is staffed 10am-6pm Monday - Friday, and 11am-3pm on Saturday.  Evening and Sunday appointments are available by calling in to us.

What is the difference between individual and communal pet cremation?

Private/Individual Cremation means only your pet is present in the cremation chamber. Communal cremations are several pets being cremated at the same time. This only occurs when the client does not want their ashes returned to them.

May I inspect the facilities where my pet’s aftercare will be performed?

Yes, our facility is available for your viewing during our normal business hours or by appointment.

What types of animals do you cremate?

We can cremate any pet to a 350 pound weight.

Do you administer euthanasia at your facility?

Not at this time.
