Liler Lou was a rescue dog. She was scared of us for a week before she started to trust my daughter and I. She was a quirky little girl. Never destroyed anything but would let us know she was upset if we left her to run errands. She took my boots off the stairs then placed them at the bottom of the stairs very neatly together. I came home one day to discover she put one of my daughter’s shoes in the living room and one in the kitchen. No teeth marks. Just in 2 separate rooms. Or the time she took my candy sticks and threw them all over the living room floor.
She made us laugh daily. There were times she had no bones. She would just go limp in our arms like a rag doll so that we had to pick her up and carry her around. Not that she was spoiled.
After my daughter moved out she was my lil shadow. We had our routines. She would wake me up every morning licking my eyes. I cleaned her eye gunkies and I guess that was her version of cleaning mine. We shared many snuggles at bedtime. Nose bumps and lots of kissies. I loved her little toe beans and kissed them all the time. She was a great lovebug and will miss her huge personality. Her beautiful face and smile are furever etched in our hearts. She was a beautiful addition to our family and will be missed tremendously. Words cannot express our love for this sweet, sweet girl. I will always miss you and love you to the moon and back. RIP my beautiful angel.
