  • We recently lost our baby Dale. We decided to go a different route then sending out to cremation through the vets office after a particularly horrible experience of being handed our cats remains in a bag through a walk up window last year. We chose Eternal Paws and drove the 45 minutes based upon the google reviews. When I called, Michelle answered the phone and walked me through everything. I could hear a genuine sympathy in her voice and it was comforting. We arrived there a little while later and we laid Dale on a comfortable bed and got to spend as much time with him as we wanted. We went through our choices and handled the money part. We then lit some candles and Michelle said a prayer for us. We again got to spend as much time as we wanted with him. We brought him in on Thursday 4/28 and were scheduled to pick him up Monday 5/2. When we arrived on Monday, Dale was sitting out waiting for us as we walked through the door. His engraved remains box, his lock of fur which was not in an envelope but instead in a little glass bottle, his clay and ink paw prints and his certificate. Everything looked so beautiful. They made sure Dales blanket was nicely folded, bagged and returned. She also answered all my questions about jewelry and again let us have as much time as we needed. We have lost fur kids before we lost Dale. Each time has been the same. We sent them to private cremation with returned ashes through the vets office. We have always received paw prints, locks of fur and engraved boxes. But never have we received the service and sympathy that we received with Eternal Paws. We love fur children and believe in rescue. We know that at some point we will need to have another one cremated as well. It is comforting to know that places like Eternal Paws exist with people who care and take good care of you while you are in such a fragile state. We will be sure to recommend them to everyone we talk to.
